The D3D premium matte is my go to filament. The olive green is the closest colour match to military vehicles for my printed models. I have printed many spools of this filament and it has not let me down.

My new favourite filament!

Love this matte filament for the way it prints - great surface finish that's repeatable. It has been my number one for over 4 years.

Very easy to work with and give a very smooth surface finish.

Always helpful and nice people

Material is fragile like candy and not the same color for rolls from different orders.
Not good for precision prints.
Good for display objects but too weak for mechanical parts.
Bill C.
Great filament but only comes in 1kg spools. Need them in at least 2-3Kg spools.
James H.
Great first experience with this filament. Would buy again no problem.

Great quality!!

Love this matte black!! I printed with it at 210°C and it printed so damn smooth!!
Going to order another one, and some of the other matte colors.

Very nice smooth matte black PLA, and the price!? When PLA is going on amazon for $10.00 more, I'm instantly hooked on Digimakers.
I thought it was weird that the recommended temp was 210 - 230... but I went ahead and printed at 210, and the few prints I did so far turned out amazing.

A bit tricky to print with from other PLA and PLA+ I used. 205 on the nozzle and 60 on the bed, but had to slow print speed to 40mm/sec to avoid jamming and inconsistent prints. Just a extra tip if printing on glass keep the glue stick handy. The matte finish looks great once you get everything dialed in.

Absolutely perfect for Landy Interior. Love the matte finish. Looking forward to printing more RC interiors.

The matt finish black is quite good to print and has a good appearance.
Randall D.
Very good matte filament. No disappointment here.

Used Blue matte for the bottom, and esun silk blue for the top. Both printed well and on my stock bed of the CR 10S V2 pro. printed D3D matt navy blue at 220/65 , Esun silk blue at 210/60. Im happy with the results.

The colour is a bit more pinkish than real terracotta. Nice matte finishing. less warping, stick well to hotbed, has some stringing issue and not very strong well in bridging. All in all, this a fair good price Matte PLA.
Simon
Bought the black color and loving the matte finish. No issues with printing and adhesion (on PEI). Only observation is that when printing on smooth PEI, the first layer is still super glossy.
Gavin W.
Gives a nice matt finish but it creates dust that goes everywhere, into your fans etc....

Very consistent & reliable. I have used 9 rolls of this filiment and have never had a problem. Does tend to print a little on the higher end of the spectrum.

Good filament to work with
It’s worth it’s price

Some of the best filament I have ever used! Great matte texture, prints like a dream and a little higher density gives prints a more weight and feel more substantial.
Mike G.
Strong, flexible, quality prints.

Good product, fast shipping

Seems to want higher heat to avoid splitting, but can clog the nozzle easily. Too fussy, and poor results. 2 out of 5 prints were complete fails. Bring glue and primer filler to your party with this one.
You get what you pay for, I suppose.

What a difference from the typical $15per/Kg Spools most folks would buy, including myself, here I thought there was something wrong with my printer, trying to figure things out for months, until I was left with no choice other than to buy a bit higher end PLA...well I can tell you it is worth the extra 10-15 dollars difference just for the sheer quality prints I'm now getting from what I thought was a broken 3D printer, is now my favorite printer, so much so, I ordered another Ender 3+ so we can start printing even more of these Shields and ear savers for local health and frontline workers...Thank you very much, cheers!
Kyle W.
This prints wonderfully! Will definitely try more!

I have been getting excellent results using this filament. Very good detail when printing small pieces with fine detail.

This product produces a very attractive and beautiful results and I will purchase more in the near future.
Thanks Ali for recommending it for my project..

I found it needs to be printed fairly slowly to avoid jamming, and doesn't bridge all that well compared to other PLA and PLA+ brands.
Looks-wise, it's pretty much as advertised, a matte grey colour. It's slightly soft (similar to eSun PLA+ if you've tried that) which makes it easy to sand away layer lines.
I've also found it quite easy to remove supports with only a 0.2mm air gap, even from large areas. Could probably get away with less, but I'm happy enough with how easy it is to file smooth the top surfaces to have not experimented yet.
Overall, in isolation it would be fine, but there are better brands around the same price range.
