Funny the bad reviews are amateur's yup I had issues on my 1st cheapy machines but once I bought some good machines and even made them better, no issues with PETG, yes it can stick to nozzle happens once in a while.. adjust flow rate and its less.. ensure it's good and dry and its better... nothing wrong with this filament it works great.. PS: I usually print with 0.8 and 0.6 Nozzles.

I have been using this in place of ASA and its been excellent, doesn't warp as easily as ASA, and the low gloss finish is more like a painted surface, thats not glossy makes for nice functional parts.

Low gloss PETG prints great once you go trough the calibrations steps (Orca).
Top part: 0.4mm nozzle
Bottom: 0.6mm nozzle
Quick comment: Recently I ordered 3 spools of PETG, and by mistake DigitMakers.ca sent the wrong color for one of them. Happy to say that customer support was quick to resolve the issue. They replaced it quickly, GREAT customer service.

I like the look and makes very good strong parts.. I rind it looks like ASA without the Warping issues of ASA.. and layer adhesion is excellent..

I like the look makes nice functional parts without to much shine which looks cheap at times.. Good for outside use.. and easier to print than ASA..

The Black is a wonderful finish, however this was the most difficult filament I have ever used. I will admit I've only been 3d printing for about a year and only print PLA and PETG. The big problem I had with this filament was that it REALLY likes to stick to itself and the nozzle which caused some major issues resulting many failed prints. After it has been printing for about 30mins or so I would get a significant build up on the nozzle which then would start smearing and dragging on the print causing quality issues which eventually leading to so much buildup it would knock on the model and cause layer shift or completely knock off the bed. Strangely I was also getting debris all over the print bed that wasn't exactly stringing but a mix of tiny chunks of plastic and what looked like prince rupert's drops but in plastic. The second problem I had was layer adhesion; after the first couple failed prints when I would pick up the model it was so brittle it would break just by squeezing with one hand. I originally started at 245, but after several tests, I found 270 worked best for me. Finally the biggest factor that gave me a successful clean print was slowing it down from 60mm/s to 30mm/s and pause every 45min to clean the nozzle. This change was by far the most successful. Sorry about the very long review/rant. other print notes - filament was dried for a week, cooling fan off, printed in the open and in a makeshift enclosure

Has a nice look and great surface quality, but bad layer adhesion and quite brittle.
I am printing this on a P1P with the following settings:
Temp: 270 degrees
Flow rate: 0.965
Max volumetric speed: 10 mm³/s
Pressure Advance: 0.027
I'll be trying slower speeds and/or higher temps to see if I can get better adhesion / more strength out of it, but for now, it's not usable for functional parts. Prusament Matte PETG is significantly stronger and has a slightly better finish (less dry looking).

Overall this is a decent filament although it does have its quirks. To get the best quality I had to up my temperature to 245 and decrease the flow by an extra 10%. Printing at lower temperatures seemed to leave the viscosity of the filament thicker resulting in more surface issues. The matte finish on the white filament is great for hiding printing imperfections.

Low Gloss is a must. Black also a must. The combination of both is near the perfect material. Not as easy to print as PLA but after a few trial and error it worked like a Sharm. Strong and low stringing, I had to reduce the flow to 95% to avoid the common build up plastic around the nozzle. I used 245 C on the Nozzle and 80 C on the bed. For big parts I used masking tape on the bed area to squish the 1st layer and avoid warping. Works very well for me.

One of the thing I don't love about PETG is the shininess of the material. Sometimes I want it to be matte. I got one Filament Depot Low gloss PETG in Red and I was surprised by the finish. It's not completely matte but it's much better then the regular PETG. I had no issues with the product, the layers adhesion was ok and my vase finish with no problem. Loved it. I'll print more with it and I'm looking forward for new colors.
